My background is in Biomedical Engineering, obtained at Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon. After completing my master's, I relocated to Amsterdam to pursue a PhD at the Radiology department at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. My PhD research is centered on investigating the limitations of current response assessment criteria to treatment in solid tumors and exploring the potential applications of AI to address these limitations.
