About

I obtained my Master's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Messina in 2018. Following graduation, I pursued a one-year Research Fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital in London in 2019, focusing on validating non-invasive methodologies for studying diffuse liver diseases. Subsequently, I joined the Radiology Residency Program at the University of Messina, where I currently hold the position of Senior Resident.

Starting from 2023, I've been working as a Research Fellow at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam. My role entails providing imaging assessments within AI multidisciplinary teams focused on oncological radiology. Additionally, I conduct clinical research focusing on MRI staging and re-staging of rectal cancer.

I have a keen interest in both abdominal and oncological radiology. My research primarily centers on liver pathologies, colorectal diseases, dual-energy CT, and the integration of AI into oncological radiology.

I actively participate in professional societies, including the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR), the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the European School of Radiology (ESOR), and the Italian Society of Radiology (SIRM).
