About

My research focuses on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the characterization of the tumor immune microenvironment through medical imaging. The primary objective is to explore the potential of AI for non-invasive immune microenvironment characterization to aid in predicting treatment responses. I hold a BSc degree in Applied Physics and an MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Medical Physics, both of which I obtained at Delft University of Technology. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at the University of Maastricht under the guidance of Prof. Regina Beets-Tan and the daily supervision of Dr. Wilson Silva and Dr. Taisiya Kopytova. My aspiration is to bridge the gap between technical research and healthcare. I firmly believe that AI is going to be fundamental to improving the accuracy of diagnoses, treatment efficacy, and response predictions in future healthcare. I am enthusiastic about contributing to this development, drawing on my strong affinity for both medical imaging and AI.
